Bellator released a statement suggesting Delray Beach police are seeking info from anyone who may have witnessed the crash. “Bellator has been advised of a dreadful accident that occurred last night between featherweight fighter Jordan Parsons, who was hit by a vehicle in a shout incident,” the statement read. “We’re still in the process of discovering details and with his family’s consent, expect to have an update on his medical condition soon. Our thoughts and prayers are with Jordan and his family as he recovers. The hit-and-run occurred on Lindell Blvd. and South Federal Highway at Delray Beach, Florida. Anyone who has information regarding this incident is asked to call the Delray Beach Police Department in -LRB-561-RRB-??243-7800.” Parsons (12-2) has been scheduled to combat Adam Piccolotti at Bellator 154 at San Jose on May 14. It is likely Piccolotti will not have a replacement competitor and the bout will be scrapped.
